Hot start problems = Tired IP. Find a local Diesel shop and have it rebuilt.

I have seen them, but honestly, you would have to get INSANE amounts of snow to bother. You would be better off plowing with something like a CUCV for most snowfall. I know mine happily plows 2-3' at a time without any issues at all. A deuce is just too cumbersome to maneuver to have a plow...

Head Gasket or Cracked Head are more likely than the cracked block. I would suspect a freeze plug too. The pressure test will tell you for sure.

Understood.... I am only attending one day (if any) this year, and its mostly since I need to go pick something up from NOVA area in the next month anyway.
