    increasing reliability and offroad performance

I would relocate the batteries to under the bench in the cab, get a fuel tank from a chevy blazer, they are a low hung between the rails fuel tank that holds 18 gallons or so and carry a couple jerry cans for long trips or mount two blazer tanks. Get some 395-85-r20 for increased performance and...

    Air Ride Plumbing

Although I am quoting myself, I was on the think tank and came to the conclusion that this would work if I left the front springs in for stability and then I could let the rear end walk all over with no problems but 4 corner air bags would probably be great on road but a death trap offroad...

    Air Ride Plumbing

that's a good point, my logic behind that was limiting straps, that way if one tire drops the other will naturally compress and allowing the air to move freely between the two would allow it to articulate with little to no effort and with shocks in place it would slow the travel so I would think...

    Air Ride Plumbing

I am creating a build sheet for a bobbed 818 5 ton with air bags at all four corners, I will use windshield wiper valves to add and take air away to keep it looking legit. My question is that even though I will have separate valves for front to back but do I need separate ones for left to right...

How do you get 14.00 R20 M939/M944A1 tires off the rim?

if they are 2 piece rims you might have bead locks inside it which case you would need to take the center bolts all the way off to the the wheel to separate from the tire.

M818....I'm trying a new way to put a bed on it...

gottcha, what about the idea of cutting a hole in the middle of the 105 bed and then boxing it in to protect the hitch so that it sits flat on the frame of the truck? I don't know what you intend to haul in that but it should be protected just fine, you can even do the boxing at an angle so it...

M818....I'm trying a new way to put a bed on it...

I would just use the tractor and pull a trailer, seems like this setup shaky will be a best case scenario.
