Need air raid siren P/U and shipped or delivered to GA from south LA
Got it out the van. Was raining so didn't get to really look at it. Had the wife snap a pic of it.
The top hat was bent like that when I picked it up. I'm guessing it got moved a couple times, and gentle wasn't in the mind...
My base allows for self supported, never had an issue with 30' here in Louisiana.
I'll bring the goods and if it's used cool, if not that's cool too.
Someone mentioned using a repeater. I'm actually looking at a repeater and is UHF. That would allow to be reprogrammed for the gmrs repeater...
Today got the truck running and moved it to the farm.
My pumps were DOA so I put the fuel hose back on the ip from the filter and did something I hate to do. I used starting fluid to start her.
I ordered a lift pump that goes on a 5.9 Cummins and I will tie into the system when it comes in...
Are the two rallys at the same time, and how far apart are they?
Oh, and about the 30' foot tower / push up pole. Getting the antenna higher would be effective for trying to keep comms in the trails.
Finished the wiring harness for it. Talk about tedious, but electronics is my thing so it was fun.
Coming out of the box is heat shrink for a couple feet.
Did a simplex contact at about 30 miles at Fort Hood when I first got my license.
I have repeater finder on my phone and repeater directory on my laptop. Manuals are great, nifty manuals are the best.
Trying to get me in a corner crying thinking about all the pots I have washed at ntc.
I...
I was CLS (basically a dumb down emt-a) in the army. If I knew I was going to be doing stuff I would have kept up my EMT but let that lapse moons ago.
SSGR and the Army / Marines have something in common, lol
Alright so today was very productive. Picked up an air raid siren for amgeneral72 and as soon as I got home me and the wife got to town on the truck.
She is all back together now. :D
Just have to add some dot 5, bleed the front brakes, hook up my pumps and take her to my grandfathers so I can...
Oh no I've got room. Since the wife is coming for the whole rally I've decided she is going to tow the flat bed trailer with the van and put the 101 bed and the siren on it.
fuzzy when are you planning on going to premier again? I emailed Blake but haven't heard back and it doesn't look like I'm going to make it tomorrow :(
Thanks. Looking at the reservation I think Stephens apartment is the one that had sat but wasn't available the entire rally.
Never less the kids need to unplug as much as me.
Plus if I add up how much I have in the wheel section alone I don't know if I want to drop another grand in more rims.
Wheels and tires - 1050
Studs - ~300
Studs second time for correct ones - ~350
~1700 just in the tire section = wife not happy
Are you suggesting you have some that need to be sold, lol
I looked in the classified section and came up with a seller in OK that has some nos but freight might be a deal breaker.
