    Power Bleeding Deuce Brakes

I have read over the TMs regarding bleeding the brakes on a deuce using a power bleeder. The TM suggests using 20-30PSI to do this. I have read several threads on brake bleeding and they suggest using no more than 10PSI. Kinda curious, which is correct? Or, does it matter?

Any good auto paint store should handle the dye, or LMC truck. Or you can go by your local auto paint place and ask then where they get theirs.

Deuce vs. Pine Tree or not?

Pines down here are not shallow rooted, they go down the same amount the go out. The last pine we took down was 3' in diameter and had a rootball of 12'wide x 12' deep. Use a water hose and really soak it good. might even setup a pipe jet and really get at the roots. Oh, and figure to add at...

Who here runs their deuce on JP-8/Contaminated jet fuel?

TM = Technical Manuals. You can find some under the 'deuce forum' in the FAQs and you can find the rest under 'resources' (top of page). That will take you to the old SS site, there are TMs for just about everything there. I have run across the acceptable fuels several times but never saved it.

Welcome to SS and :cookoo:OD Addiction:cookoo: Justin! Congrats on the Twins! You really went off the deep end!! If it is only 150 miles, take a road trip and see what you got to work with. Check both trucks over completely and see what you have. You can get a list of needs and start...

Who here runs their deuce on JP-8/Contaminated jet fuel?

Dont know the specs of #4. I would not use #6 as it way to heavy, even cut. Someone who knows more on the #4 should chime in shortly. You can use just about anything combustable. Might have to cut it with diesel or gas to run it though. There is a list of acceptable fuels in the TM's for the...

Who here runs their deuce on JP-8/Contaminated jet fuel?

Works Great! Just do not get caught with it in your truck. States do not take kindly burning this as someone did not pay road tax.

It was bound to happen... the neighbors got a quick preview...

Congrats on the 'Twins'!!! The stone bridge really intrigues me. I was working up in Bossier City, LA from 96 to 99. We tied up 200' north of an old RR swing bridge there that was built back in the 1860's. Until we came through it had not been opened since the 70's. They had to hand crank it...
