Looking for advise (newbie)
Welcome to SS and OD addiction! Might want to look into renting the largest trailer U-Haul has to offer. Nice and cheap, 55/day and available everywhere. The M1009 will fit perfectly and a M1008 will fit, just. Tow it back home and start doing you PMs there. Alot easier.- 4x4 Forever

See if you can find someone in Steel Soliers or someone who has experience working them when they were in the service. See if you can get them to meet you and go over things before taking off. what number to use
It is at the 10 oclock position when you have your head on the top of the driverside tire. It will be approx 2" up from the bottom. You might need to scrape paint to see it but it should be there. It should look something similar to: 0525-xxxxx (all numbers) and the numbers should be 1/2" tall...- 4x4 Forever

Would I do it? Probably not. If I got good prices on everything, I would consider it. If someone lived on the Westcoast, it would be a deal, if you got them for the prices I saw.
