I don't know how brake fluid is not pouring out of your brake drum. If it were me, I would replace both wheel cylinders along with the wheel cylinder link. Don't skip anything on brakes as they are a safety item. Good luck!
fastenal
I'm sorry 74M, I had used Fastenal for transporting my springs from Utah. I wish they sold parts, maybe not-- I already need a bigger garage.
5ton
Fed exd my sf-97 form and fake looking govt.paper that gov. planet sent me ( that I was supposed to get my Florida title with ) back to gov. planet so they could correct their fupa. I then came home and finished grinding the 9000 layers of carc paint off my passenger door and put her to...
What an eyesore, hope you don't have a hoa. I will come haul that junk out of your yard for a small fee. Just kidding-- welcome from Florida, and nice looking truck.
What I have noticed is that 99% of these trucks with stacks, are driven by idiots. They put a smoke switch on the turbo to dump black smoke, weave in and out of traffic and are usually speeding. Yep, they look real cool with the red and blue lights flashing behind them. The only red and blue...
stacks
If they were illegal half the people in this town would be in trouble. To me stacks in pick-up trucks look stoooooooopid, unless it's the blonde from B.J. and the bear.
Very cool pics. and good cause for a charity. Maybe a stupid question and I know it varies state to state but are you allowed to run Christmas lights while driving down the road? Mods move question if not in right area. Thanks
Actually painting the suspension and undercarriage is as easy as painting the truck-- if not easier. You don't have to worry about runs. Just make sure that everything you want paint to stick to is CLEAN. Purple power everything, then power wash. REPEAT-- and all should be good Happy painting!
No, it does fit in the factory cover/housing. I put a 4 inch sponge on the back side to keep it centered so it's getting plenty of airflow-- like I said junk design meter.
Like Coffee said-- make sure frame is clean, purple power it several times/power wash it several times. Mine was not completely clean and paint didn't stick to well. I re-purple powered and repower washed it, re-painted, and not had any more problems.
I installed a k&n filter that is used on motorhomes, and my guage goes up halfway still! I think if you take the filter out it would still go up halfway. Poorly designed-- maybe the same engineer designed the flimsy dogbones as well. P.S. The filter is for the 8.3 cummins by the way-- so I know...
what I did
I did a bad thing today, I sold one of my 5 tons.:cookoo: Now I'm back down to one 5 ton. Well if I look on the bright side, I have more money to build this one even better!
