    block heater or no block heater

    I would definetly do block heater,I have a kim hotstart TPS151GT10-000,that I have not installed,No time,and my 1009 starts everyday down to 0 so far,I would look at a Jatonka Winter Grill Cover though,really makes a difference,well fitting and well made,and easily installed.

    I like the autolite 1112 fast start plugs,pulled them out and replaced with 60gs,because I was worried about plug swelling,they were fine and putting them back in .just my opinion and experience.

    I drive mine 80 miles per day ,at 63-67mph get about 20 mpg with a 33 inch tall tire,k&n filter,3 inch muffs. and tails.

    I have put 20k miles on mine in year and half,daily driver,do starter relay mod, headlight harness mod,manual glowplugs,change oil every 3k,keep eyes on crank dampner,moter accessories mounts and you will be fine..

    Problems with HD Headlight Harness

    when I did mine threw an abrasive wheel on cordless screwgun to strip paint,installed ground with a locking star washer and then hit with a little paint.

    If you are talking about the real factory glass,from what I have gathered we can remove glass and regulator and crank handle if you want.Im about 3 wks. from ordering,my window just slipped out of track again,and tired of fixing,will also save replacing lots of new window seals.

    I have a hotstart TPS151GT10-000 heater Im trying to figure out where to mount..I hear there is a block drain plug behind motormount,wondering if I can remove motor mount bolt and raise motor and install a 90 to feed heater,or should I make a T in lower rad. hose to feed heater? Thanks.
