getting ready to do brake booster,mastercylinder,frnt calipers and pads install. figured i should do brake fluid change as well,after looking things over it looks pretty simple,and all my bleeders broke loose very easy..i bought a vacuum hand pump so it should be easily done by myself..

im thinking it was a fuel issue,i filled up and forgot to add the additive,i know my truck has some garbage in tank,no place to drop it and drain yet..

i have manual glowplug set up,recently removed autolite 1112 which are a quick start glowplug in favor of ac/delco 60g glowplugs because i was worried about swelling,but now truck doesnt start nearly as well..i used to cycle 10-15 seconds twice and she would fire right up,now with 60gs its 20...

Mine fit fine but I kinda laid it out before starting install,covered yellow sheathing with black wire conduit and ran in front of radiator,also ground new spots for grounds on core support,and used self tapers with star washers,Im happy with setup but if it said Warthog on it would be even...

I recently went with 3 inch mufflers and tailpipes helped alot with acceleration,it also has kn filter,rest of exhaust is still 2.25, if you go to youtube and punch in rsh4364 you can hear it, before and after..

My first winter with my 1009,it got down to 7 -9 degrees for several days,I dont know if i start mine right,i dont crank longer than few seconds and if it doesnt start i glow it for another 10-15 secs,when its cold usually takes 2 tries,

i thought about doing mine in blaze orange and black but decided on a snow camo theme instead,

ordered brake booster,master cylinder,calipers, pads,rotors and hubs and a set of braided stainless lines...laid off and bored....

and its kinda pretty in pink..

do the starter relay mod,as a victim of runaway starter i know,its cheap,easy and save a bunch of headache..theres nothing worse than watching a vehicle you love smoking and burning things up,starter and wireing harness,the guys that never had one fail say its good,but us guys that had the relay...

discovered today not brake fluid leaking on floor but pwr steering fluid,gonna replace booster and master cyl.,how hard is this job?

May be a silly ?,but why did chevy put such a narrow rear in M1009s? Shouldnt it match front end..And is this why some guys add spacers? Just curious..

Ater reading about swollen glowplugs I became paranoid about it happening to me,so I pulled my autolite 1112 fast starts and put in the 60s,they looked great even though I cycled almost twice the 7 seconds ,at least now i dont have to worry about swelling whenever i start now,also installed door...

okay its hydra-boost,and gonna replace booster and master cylinder,but why is it leaking inside but not outside?I just dont want to replace all this and still have a leak, is it maybe just an o-ring on shaft going into booster? brakes work fine other than leak..

im finding multiple part numbers, does it have hydra boost?if anyone has part numbers id be grateful, im gonna replace master and booster, im thinking..thanks ..

two different systems you should be fine,Im gonna try that lucas oil trick,you are the second guy ive read about doing this with good results..thanks for posting..
