Wow. This is a great thread!! I'll be towing another deuce with my deuce and I've been trying to figure out the brakes and lighting. Now I'm set just got to set every thing up. Thanks to everyone who contributed to this thread :)

Another Update!!! Static display staging will occur on Oct 7th or 8th between 0800 and 1630. I plan on going on the 8th. Just let me know if you are going and what day works best. I'll keep posting updates.

Why don't you have to have an EUC when buying deuces off of GSA? Why is it a requirement when buying through GL?

Nope... Not just you. I'm in the same boat. This is my 5th and it is the longest thus far and still counting. It's a bunch of BS but what you gonna do. It's unfortunately part of the process.

I have some HF tools and they work just fine for me. I would say it is up to you in what you are looking for. I'm debating getting a welder from HF since it would be my first. That way I can mess it up and not be out a whole lot of money plus the welding jobs I plan on doing right now aren't...

Waiting on 5188. It's a deuce at Hooks. My last EUC was Oct 09. Not over the 12 month mark.

I have no status to report right now. Hopefully they got some help because most of their belongings were loaded in the 109 for the move to Arizona. I called and left a message. I'll report back when I hear something.

I just don't understand why you need an EUC when dealing with Gl but not GSA. I would also think that if you already have done 1 or more EUCs that they would take a lot less time. This is my 5th and so far it is the longest. I guess I will give it until Monday and then I will go your route...
