:ditto: I'm curious because my front is leaking so I'm going to have to tackle that once it cools down (well if it ever cools down). It seems when I have a day off to work on the deuce the temps hit 100 with a heat index of 105 to 110. Got to love these Arkansas summers :roll:.
Wow. This is a great thread!! I'll be towing another deuce with my deuce and I've been trying to figure out the brakes and lighting. Now I'm set just got to set every thing up. Thanks to everyone who contributed to this thread :)
Another Update!!!
Static display staging will occur on Oct 7th or 8th between 0800 and 1630. I plan on going on the 8th. Just let me know if you are going and what day works best. I'll keep posting updates.
Wow. I just looked at it in your other thread. I hate to sound like a traditionalist but I wouldn't bob it. But do what you want with it. I'm sure it would be a really cool looking bob job.
:::::::UPDATE::::::::
I spoke with my POC at the air base and here is what I have:
They would like 5 to 6 vehicles there. Now this number may increase or decrease. We are also working on trying to get some modern vehicles as well so if any of you have some contacts in bases here in AR that...
I've thought that and even asked that question in the past on here. Can't remember what the answer was though. I still wonder why you need an EUC for GL but not GSA. I like the idea of doing a check before you bid and maybe have to be rechecked once a year. Then you would be good to go. I...
Cool. I like it. I'm going to mount a grenade for my shifter knob. I also like the light switch. Was it plug and play or did you have to do some modifications?
Nope... Not just you. I'm in the same boat. This is my 5th and it is the longest thus far and still counting. It's a bunch of BS but what you gonna do. It's unfortunately part of the process.
Thanks for the update Corprin. Good luck with Chemistry and Calculus. I guess I will just wait mine out. It seems as though it doesn't do a whole lot of good by contacting DCIS, DDTC, etc. The GL machine rolls on...........
I have some HF tools and they work just fine for me. I would say it is up to you in what you are looking for. I'm debating getting a welder from HF since it would be my first. That way I can mess it up and not be out a whole lot of money plus the welding jobs I plan on doing right now aren't...
I have no status to report right now. Hopefully they got some help because most of their belongings were loaded in the 109 for the move to Arizona. I called and left a message. I'll report back when I hear something.
I just don't understand why you need an EUC when dealing with Gl but not GSA. I would also think that if you already have done 1 or more EUCs that they would take a lot less time. This is my 5th and so far it is the longest. I guess I will give it until Monday and then I will go your route...
