Neat M37 - note it has the four-color MERDC camo paint job. It was one of the few that survived in Uncle Sam's arsenal after the 1974 changeover from 24087 OD green to MERDC. Very cool!

In order to preserve your FUTURE M37 gas tank, might be worth your while to have it coated with a liner inside the tank, and coated with POR-15 outside the tank. Will last near forever then.

I towed deuces behind my deuce, and I've towed a 10,000 lb laundry trailer behind the deuce as well. I got them home, 100 miles from the auction site, but it's a little hairy. If someone panic stops in front of you for any reason, or the road surface is wet, YOU CANNOT STOP. Heck, coming back...

My opinion, Dave, is that it would be much easier to rip off the pipeline truck stuff and drop it onto a better truck. It would be a nightmare to restore what you have in the current frame, etc. Plus, you could sell off the old axles and make back your initial investment easy.

Kenny, I think the fenders are unique as well. The cab is a standard deuce/5-ton cab so that could be changed out easily. Here's a pic or two of the SECO trucks.

We'll keep an eye out. Do you have the serial numbers of the stolen mules, so we can verify them if the thieves decide to change the appearance of the mules, but leave the data plates?

Well, it's that time again! We are going to start putting together the 2nd Annual Graves Mountain rally here, looking for folks who want a nice family-oriented get-together, lots of outdoor activities at the Lodge, as well as trail rides, mod bog, vending for anyone who wants to sell stuff...

I may have spoke too soon - I just got a call back from them. They said on the phone they've been busy, and the messages were piling up. Threat neutralized - standing down.

I've been trying to arrange pickup for a lot I won at Ft. Bragg for several days, I have left two messages, and no returned calls. Has anyone had any problems with GL at Ft. Bragg? They seem to live on "Out To Lunch" mode as of recent....

Worst case scenario, they make new M38A1 body tubs. Looks like you have a decent start there!

Neat save, Dirt. The sheet metal doesn't look that bad, but you would know better. Even if it's just a parts truck, there's a lot of good parts there to save. I attached a few pics I saved up over the years of different paint patterns I have seen on M123s and M125s, perhaps they might find...

Just a thought, but perhaps we can get David Kelone at mvdataplates.com to make up a few sets of M756 plates for us that are authentic?
