I was told by an ex army guy that the when the sprag is acting on and off, it (or the linkage) needs adjusted.
I didn't feel like doing that either and when a T-case came around with a REB kit I got it.
Yeah, everyone claims the Busa is a pig in the corners, but I've dragged my footpeg a time or two on a couple of VERY well known turns. My '99 I had put a 4-1 Yosh full race pipe, Power Commander w/self tweaked maps, air box mods, K&N, etc. I had also purchased a spare cylinder case to send out...
RDD,
Physically, they'll fit on the truck. The rear axles are right about 48" apart and these are about 46" around so there's gonna be enough clearance to work.
OR...you mean that pesky 10 hole pattern? I've got that taken care of compliments of AutoCad and a CNC Waterjet machine...
Well, here's just about what they'll look like. I don't have the plate that will be sandwiched inbetween the can and the original center, but refund time is nearly here!
I like that 6253B tranny in there. If I was staying with small tires (NDT's) I'd be looking for another trans with more od. The big XL singles I'll be going to will give me 9mph more. Split brakes would be nice...seeings how I already lost them from a front one getting pinched.
If you guys wanna improve braking, why not go over to disc brakes if the drums aren't to your liking. Isuzu has a rotor and ...crap, for get the other one...anyway...there are a couple of rotors that will work. It's not a cheap conversion, but hellish cheaper than $6000. Might be $800-$1000 per...
Track Lock, Yup...that's what it is. In stock form, they work good. Don't expect to have all four paws going with 40" swampers or anying with hunky tread.
I had to have him send a M/O back to me after non delivery or an item after two months. Someone at his place finally told me he was real sick. She also said she was the one that took care of the email. I sent six emails got a reply to one, got hung up on twice when calling. Yeah...proceed...
I have the same wheels you have on yours on my M715. Same 6" back and 4" front spacing...would like to have a little more backspacing on those. I *think* they're 10" cans on the 5 ton wheels. Check the pic, you can see that the original 10 hole center raises up and is about parallel with the...
Here's how close it is. The deuce lug pattern is 6 on 8-3/4" centers. The center hole in the combat wheel is 8-3/4". So you gotta figure that whatever size driver/extension thickness, half of it is gonna be into that center hole. Oh, and it looks like there's gonna like 1-1/4" to 1-1/2" from new...
Lets just be honest here...I had wood over my wheels today. Seven, five ton, 20 bolt, beadlock wheels! Sooo nice...ahhhh. The plan is to sandwich a waterjet cut plate inbetween the back half can and the front plate. The tough decision is to decide if it will be possible to keep the 10 hole...
M1075, The 395/85R20 XML's on my 715 came about from a deal I found on them, $200/dbl beadlock wheel and XML. The 15.50/80R20 XL's I got from a guy on ebay for a REALLY good price. Including truck shipping for two pallets from Wisconsin I'm in under $100/XL. I've had the XL's and XML's side by...
My buddy just got on and I told him not to drive it like a new vehicle and baby it but to, "...turn on the lights and drive it like ya hate it!"
I've only driven my deuce about 200mi...then it died. Bad batteries, no juice, no tank pump...dead. I did, however, drive my Rockwell axle'd...
This is one of six of these 15.5/80R20 (15.5x46) XL's that will be going on my deuce in the near future. We've seen them on the burly white and red brush truck and they look tough, but not much for size comparison or real world comparisons. [^]
