Looks good! The tires look larger than 31", what size are they?
Also, from the picture it looks like that dent on your passenger door can be pushed right out by removing the inner door panel and popping it out. The metal just looks pushed in and not stretched.
What are you guys getting?
Parts off your blazer... :) jk
I'm picking up a compressor and I think Rizzo's getting tires. Also screening any 'new' stuff.
Good luck with the cucv. Hope it runs good for you.
Did you get the winch installed on your duece yet?
Glad the parking brake parts worked out for you.
Congrats on the 'new' truck. Rizzo and I will be down there on Tuesday. If you can make it then, we'll help you load it.
I've got the C-turbo Kenny, and I'm 99.9 % sure it doesn't say schwitzer or 3LG319 on it, but that baby whistles. It was much smaller than the D I took off.
Without "professional help", that really grinds me. Thats why I do things myself, at least I know what I'm getting. Why spend a bunch of money for someone to halfass, ef-up a job that in the end you have to go back and do over yourself?!
It's almost impossible to find someone, no matter what...
Dunno, I think it's for the decon, but there is one of those mounted on the front of my 101 trailer that came back from Kuwait. It has a co2 cartridge in the top part of the bracket too.
I use Lucas 80/90 gear lube. Its got the additives.
Heres a cucv t-case lube question. I've seen transfer cases with auto trans fluid and even with gear lube too. Does it matter which you use?
Did all 1009's come with the locking tailgate? Mine is sans lock cylinder, there is just a 'socket' where one should be. What are the pieces needed to put one in. Of course the lock cylinder, any special parts inside?
Why does something so simple have to be made so complicated by some 'guy'? I'd tell him to pound sand.
I took the code into a dealer near me and he cut it, and gave it to me no charge. Said "Take it, I can't garauntee it will work". Worked like a champ. That's the kind of service that brings...
A fully stocked GI first aid kit tucked under the rear gas can bracket, a 3/8 drive deep well socket in the seat hinge (seat works good now), couple cans of orange road marking paint, empty .223 magazine. And you're right lacoda, a spare and a jack are a bonus.
I'm not much of an electrical guy, so I can't really help with your question. But the first photo is the power hook-ups for communications equipment. The last photo shows the mounting bracket for the arctic kit heater controller (right side).
Sean, I changed mine, but I don't recall the part numbers. I can check the belts to see if the number is on them. Just remember that civvy belts are a little bit wider than what the military used, so they won't sit in the pulley groove as deep. You have to make sure they are always kept very...
Mike, the stencil says 'lever arm'. There is a bolt at the bottom of the rocker. It may have been a pivot point for some kind of lever, but no idea as to what that would be or what it was used for. First one I've ever seen with that.
84cucv, to be honest, I have not even pulled it out of the...
Thanks for the comments. Everything was treated with acid and repainted to prevent any future rust formation. That is the cleanest those fender wells and undercarriage will ever be.
