That's a 3rd Armored Division vehicle. 33rd Armored Regiment, C Company. Not sure of the purpose though. C2 might be the XO or someone else in the company headquarters. Not sure of the WWII bumper admin numbers. Today 6 means the commander, 5 xo, 7 is 1st sergeant, 1 2 3 platoons. 16 is...
Before going into the site, go to tools in upper right of your browser screen. Then Internet Options. Then the advanced tab. Then scroll all the way down. Ensure your TLS 1.0 is checked. Not sure how I found out about this---but what do I know. I don't know Jack...or Jill for that matter...
I'm throwing this out in hopes someone can help me out. I'm lookig for the specific bumper number for the halftracks in D Co 83rd Recon Battalion, 3rd Armored Division. I know they'd be

A = for the entire set
B = for a major item within the set (Component)
C = a component for a major item (Sub-Component)

I think there were 4 different versions and only 2 had set kits and the other 2 were "as determined by Commander". I have the sko's for the 2 somewhere on a disc. I'll try to hunt it down this week.
Had a very nice brunch with VPED and his wife and my family. We had a great time discussing green iron and the area. Thanks for coming, it was a pleasure and hopefully next time others can make it.
Understood. We are hitting the early bird at the church and then heading over. I plan on being at the coral until about noon or even later depending on who shows.

Fire Depts probably don't want them due to their maintenance upkeep. They are also top heavy so side hill firefighting is problematic. Next is problem of getting a brush guard on a cab over design. Add to this the height of the bed. Overall, I think they will say thanks but no thanks. Not...
You won't find the answer in the -10 or -20 manuals. You must use a -P manual, in this case the TM 11-5820-898-20P. That gave me 6210-00-882-3617 as the stock number. Punched that into the top secret database with the abbreviation of G.O.O.G.L.E. and that gave me one of those high priced...
Does anyone know the size of bushings I need to buy from LMC truck for the leaf springs for a M1009? I think I'm going to change mine out.
I'll also be changing out the bushings for the pitman arm and sway bar. Figure it's time to do it.
