So here is something to make you laugh.
Went to get some breakfast and took the 1070.
Buddy told me I couldn't park it in the parking lot of mcdonalds and I should park in lowes instead.
Challenge accepted!
I had to get fuel anyway, so why not get some mcdonalds while out, lol
Airborne, my buddy thinks he knows you, says you live around the corner from him.
The truck is here, I'll leave Sunday morning if you wanted to bring your son to see it.
Did 400 miles today no issues at all.
Once I got the roof unit to stay open I got some good breeze on my neck.
Went through a couple patches of rain and windshield whippers worked well.
Cross winds were a b, but worked though it.
San Antonio traffic was amusing, no body wanted to get...
So stopped for the night.
The first 120 miles went great once I got going.
Truck drives great, I know the buyer will enjoy it.
You really get a sense of how slow 45 really is sitting that high up.
Here are some pics.
No problem.
I'm gonna stay the night at my buddies when I get back to sa so there will be my 818 and the het in his neighborhood.
Mps might come and knock on the door, lol.
Ndt you make me laugh.
I was right across from napa so I just walked over got 2 gp31s and put them in.
She started right up and the 24 gauge shows 28 when running.
We are a go at this station.
Wrecker was a joke. I talked to them before they came out and said I need a 24v system not 12v. Guy to me no problem and sends out a medium duty truck. Tells me they jump off semis all the time with it.
I don't think he realizes when someone says they need 24v it's probably for a reason.
I'm...
Oh and jeep, I left the 818 with my buddy in San Antonio and fly to El Paso. I have a long set of cables in the 818, and a booster pack.
Lot of good it does me now, lol
Ok so while I'm waiting for the wrecker let me get your thoughts on this.
Since it is a het and it has the big boy engine do I need to put 4 hawkers in or can I get away with how I did on my 818, 2 group 31's or bigger.
Thanks mod for deleting.
I've got all day tomorrow. Plane lands at ~0100, check into hotel, sleep for a few hours, get a cab to bliss and pickup truck. Head back to hotel, sleep some more, lol and get on the road later that evening.
I couldn't justify paying for a hotel room and only using it for a couple hours.
I think I am going to go fmtv tires and wheels and just single it out since I'm going to be driving it more.
There was a guy in Texas that came across a load of tires and I can't find the thread.
So stopped for the night. Parked the 818 at my buddies in Sam Houston.
Decided to fly to bliss and pick up the het. I'll drive it and pick up my truck on the way back.
I was worried about my tires so decided to go this route instead.
Talked to the guy at bliss to make sure he would let me...
