Alright ladies and gentlemen, it is out. Got it out around 1330 CST and started pressure washing it from 1400 to 1700, will continue on it tomorrow.
Video is 5 1/2 mins. Where it cuts is where I got a phone call and had to stop recording for a min...
If you look at my picture you can see the layout for 2 batteries.
Right side is the cross over + to -
Left side top is 24v +
Left side bottom is ground
little wire on cross over is 12v, it is for my glow plug.
There should be a diagram on the lid, just cross out the parallel section.
Great community is all I can say. Now the minute someone from upstate NY offers to come down I will be truly amazed, lol
Let me give it another shot and if it doesn't work I'll see about tomorrow.
Fang yanker, wouldn't you want to rest after that, I'm hoping it's just a routine checkup.
I had an A1, drove like a cadillac, a really big cadillac, lol
I have been on the first gen 88 and one thing I liked over the A1 was the ability to refuel with the apu opposed having to use the main pack on the A1
We took rpg rounds to my 88 my first deployment, testament to it being a beast.
I'm gonna give it another try after lunch. Gonna go to home depot and look at some stronger rope.
I had an envision last night on how to use the tow straps. Only problem is I would need about 5 or 6 of them.
I wish you the best on the stones, I know the feeling. If I don't get it out and...
Thought about tow straps, problem is distance to a strong enough tree to anchor off
I had to wrap around three trees because that area doesn't have really big ones.
I do need to refresh myself with the recovery tm.
I did h8 school back in 04 so it's been a while.
Plus you get a little lazy when you are stuck on a 88 or hemt wrecker.
Ahh, my 88, I miss her so much.
I'm great full for all the replies.
I have about 6 mins of video of me cursing and falling and cursing some more. I decided not to post that one.
I'm glad the wife listened to me when I told her to back the 4 wheeler into a little area surrounded by trees. I was afraid of the rope breaking...
I'm guess your saying no.
I just don't want to grenade the transfer.
I would bring the tractor to lift but it just so happens the truck to pull the trailer is suck in some crappy stuff, lol
I'll get some cable tomorrow. I was just worried about adverse effects on the wheels.
Yeah I know. I'm going to get some bigger rope tomorrow and while I'm battling getting the old rope off I'll try to get to the stems.
It's moments like this when I miss ctis
