I won a Delta Model 34-806 table saw from GL at Holloman AFB. Although an older model, the saw is in almost new condition and is equipped with a 5 HP 3 phase motor. As received, the motor was wired for 440 VAC 3 Ph. I rewired the motor (10 minutes) for 230 VAC 3 Ph. Since I don't have 3...
I found mine on E-bay. They appear to be present on E-bay almost continuously from several sellers. I think I paid $7.00 for mine, plus postage. A good price if the alternative is a potential explosion. I added some photos.
I finally got around to installing the 4820-01-490-1773 pressure safety relief valve on my M35A3 compressor. The installation is covered by MWO 9-2320-386-20-2. All M35A3s were required to have this kit installed prior to 30AUG05, but for some reason my truck did not have the kit installed...
If anyone needs MWO 9-2320-386-20-1 for the A3, send me a PM and I'll send it. This is the work order on how to install the air pressure relief valve on the air compressor.
Don't give up on your old tanks! Many radiator shops will repair fuel tanks for a reasonable fee. If most of the tank is still in good condition, get it repaired.
I just had a miscellaneous equipment pickup handled for me at Holloman AFB in New Mexico. I turned it over to the Shipping Store in Alamogordo, NM ( 575-437-7447) who picked the shipment up, palletized it, wrapped it and shipped it to me via LTL. Joe Ferguson handled everything. They did an...
I have several places around me that do that kind of work. I have had tires on my A2 (900 X 20) and my A3 dismounted repaired, and remounted for very inexpensive prices. It is absolutely not worth the risk of injury or the substantial sweat and sore muscles to do it yourself. I broke down one...
Welcome to the Steel Soldiers three step process! The first step was joining SS. The second step is to get an MV. The third step is to bring it to the GA Rally.
Is it possible to change the way new posts are handled? Currently, when the count of new posts reaches a certain number, they are purged and the count starts again at zero. How about if there was a rolling count of say 30 or 40 new posts. As a new post was entered, one would drop off the...
I don't remember mine having that many fittings behind it, but I'm going from memory. Very good that you found out before your pressure went to zero! Thanks for the notice - I'm going to check mine when I get back home from the trip I'm on.
I admit I really like my CTIS also. Especially once I found out that my tire leakage problems were not caused by the CTIS, but instead by leaky valve stem grommets. My problem is that I run 55 psi in the tires because it drives and handles much better than 45 psi. I could probably get the unit...
I agree with the M35A3C. Those beds are popular and easy to sell. A little off topic, but I personally would not hire a firefighter that couldn't drive a manual transmission. Fire fighters become involved in many emergency situations where the skill to drive a manual transmission could be...
