I think the medium towbar was a BII for the wrecker. The deuces never carried towbars. Does anyone know if the wreckers carried both a medium and heavy?

Diesel is $2 a gallon, why bother? Course, it might jump up again, it's worth it to find alternates. I still stay WMO is your best bet....

What size towbar you need, the medium or the large? TNJ Murray has wiffle trees for $200. They are expensive, because he needs them for his 816 wrecker contract for overseas sales.

I have a feeling that deuce parts will be coming out of GL for many, many years. The military was still getting rid of WWII era parts in the 1980s, that had been stored away for decades after the vehicles were retired.

This isn't retirement - just have free time to go places that I didn't have when I was employed. Up side is I get to play with green iron more! Down side is the bills are getting harder to get paid. :cry: avengeusa - I'm not sure, I think if I ask nicely and get a handful of them, maybe $25...
