I assume that it was a San Antonio vehicle. I live just north of there and the vehicles up for auction were rough. Only one had gauges. I would not plan on driving it. Expect the worse, hope for the best.

I was talking to my welder today about drilling the holes for the gladhands and he suggested a hole saw. He also said to use water to cool the saw and not oil. I will try that because he drills a ton of these holes. Showed me a box of cores from holes he has drilled.
I am bobbing my deuce and am wondering what most people do with the rear wiring harness. I know I could coil the extra length at the frame rail or shorten the wire using butt connectors. Any suggestions or experiences?
No, I don't rebuild them but just trying a littel levity. I did find a guy on ebay who says he can do it but wants about $700. Too steep for me. If you want, I may be able to find his email address.

My EUC took 75 calendar days and it was my first one. I did not go anywhere other than RRAD since it was raining the whole time I was there. I did go to Walmart and get a set of magnetic lights since I could not get the 12V bulbs to work and I did not try to trouble shoot it in the rain...
