The maintenance computer system only tracks current issues and once they are repaired it is dumped.
What folks call the 'hood numbers' is actually the registration number. The registration number was stenciled along the hood on both sides into the 70s. You can find that number on your dash data plate which should have the serial number and the registration number printed on it.

In TX it ain't the registration number it's the bumper numbers. Bumper numbers are what is in your avitar picture. Registration number and serial number will be on the data plate on the dash on the passenger side.
TX is the only state I know of that will allow you to use the BUMPER numbers...
Naw, I wish it was mine. They belonged to the Duck Fire Dept or something. The last photo is of some type of battery jumping system they added to all the vehicles so they could jump them with a commecial connector.

I know a new one in the original cover and never used went for 145 at Aberdeen. It did not have the poles or pole bags but those are easy to come by so maybe 200 to max of 250 for everything.
