Where is the correct location for the reflective tape "L"s that are put on the back end of deuces? I have seen some up on the bed corners, and down on the mudflaps. I have even seen one with reflective "stripes" on the rear bumperettes and nowhere else.
Also, where is the correct location...
The steering wheel on my deuce is very nice, perfect in fact, since it's new. Made from green plastic or something similar. Problem I envision is that in the summertime, with sweat being what it is, the steering wheel may get a bit slippery. Does anyone make a steering wheel cover that is...
I had a couple of those generators last year, they were in rebuildable condition, but didn't sell at Aberdeen. I gave them away for free to another gent who sold them. Anyways, you're right, they are VERY heavy. You'd swear picking them up that it was a solid block of steel.
RE: Need 3/4
I believe Colemans Surplus has it, cut to length. He has truckloads of chain of all sizes, from dog chain to battleship anchor chain.

Technically, it's called OD Semi-Gloss 24087, but either way it looks great.
Forgive me, I'm not too familiar with the M66 installation kit, although the thought of installing one eventually has crossed my mind. Is this a rear cab support? Does anyone have a pic of one installed in their...
I'm taking a guess, but probably some around 3500 pounds??? A lot of steel, but with the engine/tranny/bumpers removed it gets a lot lighter.
BTW - how's the M151 coming along?
Great pics, Carter!
That reminds me, I restored a M416 trailer 10 years back, I've been meaning to post the pics of the resto, they are similar to the ones and shots you posted. Only problem is they are prints, guess I'll have to take digital pics of the prints for them to be posted here.
I have seen both paint and stickers (tape). The pic in the top, shows the inverted V too thick. The bottom pic shows the V's legs too long, going by ones I have seen before.
RE: Can
No, gimp, the inside parts of the heater are fine. It's the heater air intake hose going to the side engine access panel that's the problem.
However, that link Opie provided gave me some ideas to fix the problem. Thanks to all!
RE: Can
The engine access panel is smooth on the inside, no bracket or housing at all. Not even any screws into the metal, just a 3" wide hole, or thereabouts.
Guess I'll have to make something up.
Mount a genset in the bed, capable of producing 120 volts AC. It will help immensely in powered all sorts of gear of yours. Also, might want to think about commo - police and SAR uses lots of communications options, look into what's best for you and start mounting antennas.
Got the circular cutout in the engine access panel for the heater intake air hose, and the hose just flops around, no way to attach it to the panel where the air should come in. Anyone found a solution to this problem? Just going to ducttape it for now, but I know the tape will just wear off...
RE: Re: RE: Battery drain
If you still can't figure it out, you might consider installing a master cut-off switch, that disconnects the negative cable of the battery. That will fix the problem.
