Well, it was not only a blown head gasket but the gasket that was on had been put on backwards. This engine had been worked on fairly recently before being taken out of service. There was very little wear on the valves.

Should be on the outside of the frame. Since your vehicle is probably (stress probably since we are not 100% sure this is the true number) you should be able to look straight in from the left front tire and see the number. It maybe filled with paint.
