Okay, here's the pics I took of folk's military vehicles at the show. If I forgot someone, I'm sorry. JWC, I didn't get a pic of yours, because I showed after you left with you 5-ton on Friday. My apologies....

    The Official Post-Haspin Pic Thread!

Okay, thought I'd start this up, to get everyone's pics in one thread. I got back at approx. 10:30 Sunday morning. Sorry I couldn't stay longer but had some family business to attend to on this end. Trip took 9 hours each way, no problems. I was glad I was able to meet some good folks up...

    bumper numbers

This ones easy: 28th Infantry Division (Mechanized), Pennsylvania Army National Guard 1st Battalion, 112th Infantry (the last "1" on the left bumperette is really an "I") Headquarters, truck #94. HQ for the 1st Bat, 112th Inf is Erie, PA, so thats probably where this rig spent most of its time.

    blasphemy

This is what happens when you give MVs to worthless inbred hicks with a Millermatic and half a good thought in their mind. They could've used a beat-up M416 with a faded rattle can paint job that noone really cared about, and used that as a basis for their offroad trailer, but NO, had to cut up...

    S.S. Ga Ralley?

Where in GA? Northern GA might be do-able for me coming from No. VA, near Florida would be a tad too far...

Reverse engineering the Chem Shelter Trailer

Just curious, but why are you scrapping the trailers instead of restoring them? Most of us do the latter. Seems to me a chemical shelter may be a neat thing to have, weren't those the inflatable ones that can double as big tents?

Haspin 07!!! lets get a move on it!!

Roger that, gimpyrobb and oilcan. Will get there on Friday afternoon as soon as I can. Also, if anyone has a few extra parts, I need the following: 24v bulbs for taillights, dash, and turn signals (a couple of each) number plates for bridge plate (I need about 3 or 4)

    Painting a cab cover?

Painting vinyl is like painting a garbage bag. As soon as the paint dries, and you move the plastic, the paint will start peeling. Only exception to the rule are the several plastic/rubber paints that aren't really paints, they bond with the plastics and actually dye the color a different...

    The Beast emerges

    Another tracked GL oddity....Hagglund hull

With all the drivetrain and tracks missing, that thing can't be worth more than a couple grand. The SUSV is a great little snow cat, but it's gona take a lotta work to get this back in the powder again.

    My toys

For a ring mount and the .50 cal cradle, talk to Austin Weber in TX. He's on eBay (sells under the name beltfed34 ). He's got lots of gun mounts and he's a great guy, saves a lot of green iron from the scrap piles at the GL auctions.

    My toys

There's a 20mm gun mount at the below website for $3,500. Needs resto as well, but where else you gonna find one? I'm not sure the early M114s and T114s had the 20mm gun mount, most of the early ones had .50 cals only. But what the heck. http://www.armyjeeps.net

    My toys

Wow, I like that T114. Looks like it needs a resto, but not a junker, by far. Plan on putting a gun mount back on it? Post some pics of the inside. Where did you find this one for sale?
