    DRMO stuff...hopefuly

Anyone have a list of the "Civil Agencies" that are allowed to request military surplus equipment for the price of filling out the paperwork? Also, it used to be that if you were a non-profit group, you could request certain items as well. Is this still the case? Perhaps if I start a...

Anyone interested in old school M1 Abrahms hulls????

Why can't they be rebuilt? With the price of new tanks as high as they are, you'd think that they would try a rebuild or upgrade program...

    BFR's "new" m170

Re: RE: BFR I'd get it for $2K. M170s are worth a bit more than M38A1s, just more rare. If its a runner and in good shape, but with shot canvas, $2,000 is a deal.... BFR - what's that box on the back end of your M170? Looks like the radio box for the TRC-75 radio set. Can you get me pics...

installation of GRC-160 radio set in my truck

Okay, one point at a time: I am thinking about mounting a flat 1/2" piece of plate aluminum in the center hump area between the driver's seat and the passengers seat, on which to mount the radio, supressor, etc. The rear compartment door would be blocked, but I don't plan on doing a lot of...

installation of GRC-160 radio set in my truck

I am planning on installing a GRC-160 radio set in my truck when I am further along this summer. For those not familar with it, the GRC-160 is the PRC-77 with a AM-2060 amplifier/power supply mounted on a MT-1029 mount. Same freq range as the PRC-77. If I have the above set, what parts would...

M756 Pipeline Bed install /redneck engineering

That locust will treat you well - very hard, like oak, but take forever to rot away. We have some locust fence posts around here that are 60 years old and still solid.

Going to Coleman's next week. Need anything?

Okay, here's who I have down for parts so far: BIGDIG - HMMWV rear bumper - I don't think he has any of them CanonNinja - M35 exhaust stack and J pipe - will check OSO - M139 bridge truck well studs - I don't think he has any of them HeadWizard - M35A2 left fender, radiator, and plastic...

    M54 electrical problems.

First, check your connections, such as the 3-lever light switch and the Packard connectors from the dash on forward. Make sure that there are no cuts in any of the wires, and check to see if your ground wires are connected correctly everywhere. Let us know what happens then. Wiring problems...
