Ditto on the rust. Mine had a lot worse than that. Send the generators to rebuild and buy new batteries. That should fix the battery issue. Get a good paint job done to it (which is th emost expensive thing I've done for my truck). Glowplug is a 60-70 dollar issue. Bald tires...get new...
The MT1029 mount is in 2 pieces right now. You'll be lucky to sell it. I had about 20 at Aberdeen last year for $5 a piece and came home with 19.
The secure commo cabling is a little more rare but huge lots were auctioned off at GL at various times over the past year at next to nothing on...
When you get the SF97 and it is wrong, call and file a complaint. You will have to send the SF97 back in and they will have to issue you a corrected one (should be no cost). Only thing you are out is time but that is a whole lot better than trying to get this corrected a few months or even...

Uh, the VIN info thread is for all Army vehicles no matter the type. If you look through it you will see just about everything except for modern day stuff. Post it to the thread and we'll work on it. I don't want to have multiple threads running at the same time.
Date of info is Nov 1981. Manufacturer is the cage code. I recently post about this on this same thread just a few pages back with a link on the cage code cross reference website I use.
Easy now gents. Remember we were all FNG's here at one time or another. Down boys, down. I know we all get tired of the same old questions here but let's stay civil.
VIC1 system with H161 headsets. There's several posts out here on this website. System is expandable so you can run it to the back and also add another one on the exterior rear for use by a ground guide to simplfy hitching up trailers or backing up at night.
