Want to publicly thank Eric (doghead) and Amy (dhwife) and Mike (maddawg) for helping me out this weekend during the Gilbert show to get a CUCV all the way from Ft Drum to Hagerstown, MD. They saved me A LOT of stress, aggrevation, and white knuckled driving.
OH and thanks Amy for watching...
Nice pictures Amy!!!
Thanks for all the help!! It was wonderful meeting and talking to you and hope to see y'all again soon.
I think it was a great show for everyone.
Got a mounted A1 or A2 spare (new) and bringing it. Think I may have one of the spare tire chain hoists and some other associate stuff like that. Got a standard length bed tarp and bows but that's for a 923 and/or 813.
So I get the following emails from GL entitled
sales@govliquidation.com Winning Bid Notification for Sale 3593
Actual two with the same title for winning two of the new skedco litters. Looked like the standard GL email I get when I win.
Not exactly, seems the idiots put a FDA certificate...
Re: RE: Re: RE: VIN number
That may work if you had a one or two of a kind vehicle in a unit...for example a M35A2w/w in an infantry company but the CEC was a fairly large unit and most likely had a boat load of CUCV's so distinguishing which one is the issue.
Should be on the frame and I would highly suggest finding it. Although I could not match up your vin to a specific vehicle, I tried various parts of the vin provided and all came back with various types of vehicles EXCEPT FOR a M1009. So my suggestion is to find that frame vin.

If you are only doing the insurance for now, that is one thing. If your intent is to use the information they provide to get your SF97 and title, you better compare it to the VIN on the vehicle. If the data plate inside the drivers side door jam is missing or unreadable, check the drivers side...

CAT, hate to tell ya but this info is already available and can be gotten with very little trouble, both from GL, DRMO, and a very large list by doing nothing more than sending a letter to the government. The frame vin is the ultimate deciding factor.
As for having a line per vehicle to...
As I stated before, I bought a control box off of ebay (before I stopped visiting the lame s.o.b.'s) but I never got the cables to hook it up so the one I had may or may not have been functional. I didn't even think to check what the disposal code it. I will say that a few months ago there...
See if you can find a registration number. As it stands, the only vin's I got for this NSN are 5 digits long and they're all still showing they're on duty.
RE: Re: I will be at Ft Meade Sept 19
What you all doing at Meade on the 19th?! You're going to miss all the fun at Gilbert a mere 3 hrs or so from there.
