In the ole day, there were 4 levels of maintenance:
1. Operator (done by the crew)
2. Organizational (done by the unit mechanics)
3. DS/GS (direct support/general support)
4. Depot level (done in the US depots or by manufacturer for the most part although there were exceptions)

Is there an NSN on the trailer being shipped to you? The trailer shown in these latest photos is a generator trailer. If yours is the tower light trailer, the first photos shown is a tower mounted light trailer.
Just found this but it looks kinda large but who knows, might be just the drawing impression.

I recall there was a PM magazine article on a small clock that could be ordered for vehicles. I think it was in the same one with the 24 volt cooling fans that could be installed in the cab. I'll give you some real help--it was between 1991 and 2000 but want to say 1998 for some reason. I did...
RE: Scrap
To get back on track

I think posting some photos of the vehicle from all angles and the engine compartment and interior would help. I for one am looking for a reasonably priced piece of armor to start on. Was hoping for an armored car or halftrack but an M75 might do...
Just returned home from day 1 at Aberdeen. Thursday is family night so I had to come home (wifey said so).
I will be staying there tomorrow night and collecting all those beers folks owe me. From what I could see at departure, a good time was being had by all.
Here is a Shakespear antenna mounted on my CUCV. It works with 12 series and SINCGARs and can be used with a standard AM/FM stereo. I took my 12 series antennaes off and put these on. They sit lower but still give a good military look and fit into the same mounts.
Will have these at...
Loaded and ready to hook up (if I can get the tongue lifted).
My Marine neighbor came home for lunch and saw me finishing up but before I loaded up 2 GP Medium tents. He said "Do you think you have enough on there". I stood back and looked and thought, we'll I can still get the tarp back on...
Here some photos of the installation kit stuff I got. I don't know what is for the M715 and what is for the M800 series 5 ton.
I put the comments and questions on the photos themselves.
Maybe someone can confirm or tell me what this stuff is for both vehicle wise and function.
RE: Stuff I
Here's what I'm showing, let me know also if I forgot anyone.
btw: I am out of tow cables. I have enough to pass off to people at Aberdeen but unless I happen into some more up at the farm, I'm out.

Sounds like GREAT fun on your trip.
I visited the Simserhof part of the line near Bitche back in the early 90's. There's so much history and so little time when I was stationed there back in the late 80's and early 90's.
One of my favorite getaways was hitting a small unit action around...
RE: lock
Even though it is a standardized key to the ignition, the door locks and key ignition is one reason why I opt for a CUCV over a HMMWV. Tough to lock those canvas doors.
Unless I hear otherwise Melvinitis is suppose to get a dome light, a tow cable, an MX6707 matching unit and an antenna.
I have citizen soldier down for

SINCGARS Base 1

Does anyone need a drivers side door for a CUCV? I have 2. Both are in pretty good shape but one does not have a window= $10. The other one does = $25.
I also have a drivers seat for a 1009 in pretty good shape. It includes everything down to the floor bracket= $25.
Anyone need a GP...
