Found a heater at a surplus store today. First thought to come to mind was "That looks neat." Then what the heck is it. Turns out my 18 years out of heavy units has made me forget what a personnel heater for an M113 looks like.
So any ideas what could be done with a 113 heater other than a...
The bottom one is a 4kw used on the M577 command tracks. Not sure if they still use them or not. If I remember correctly it only provided 28vdc current.
Was given the informaiton from Big S in Germany that he had a similar truck with the F##K## and it was an air force truck that also had a registration number after it was transferred to the Army.

They completed the title wrong and then after I sent it back, lost the wrong title and wouldn't issue me a new one until they found it (although they kept accusing me of never returning it). When they finally uncovered it, it was nearly two months later. Then they said it would be another 2...

What is using the 1008 springs going to do to the ride? Make it a harder ride?
Does using the 1008 springs increase the load capability in any way?

Questions:
Will the leaf springs from a 1008 physcially fit a 1009?
What is the impact to the vehicle handling or...
Just remember the database can very easily be wrong. I'd check for the number on the frame. There's been numerous posts before stating where the number is at on the chassis or you can PM David Doyle.
This is what I came up with on the database. Appears there was some bad input for the SN and reg #'s so I'm giving you anything that is close to what you asked for on an 813.
vehicle 1:

I like the convo. here. This is what I am glad to see this website taking the next step toward--joint cooperation. I just hope I can get out there to McCoy both to help out and get away from my A-hole boss.
RE: Stage
After my debacle with Warner Robins, I was thinking the same thing. I maybe moving soon (it's a huge maybe) to a location near Ft McCoy. If that happens, I plan on opening an inspection, pick-up, and holding business.
Right now I am too far from Letterkenny and M-burg to get...
Don't know much about them but here is the olive drab website for the 880 series. Should be able to track down the tm numbers and look them up in the resources section.
