WOW! That's, like, between $7 and $8 a GALLON for diesel! And we think we have it bad over here!
What percentage of that figure is taxes, Mark? Someone should be hung over there for that price!
RE: lot part of it anyway..
Those first couple things, the yellow drawbars, may be the armor drawbars for the M1061 series 5-ton trailers. There was a guy on Steel Soldiers looking for this, needs it badly.
Answer to #4 - I don't think there has to be too much in the way of hassle by the authorities. MVs are everywhere in England, the Ministry of Defense sells armor directly to civilians, without even demilling the cannon barrel, for really fair prices. A lot of people over there own armor, and...
FYI - here's a website of a military vehicle specialist that does some repowering of MVs, including the M37. Lots of pics, and also has details of a few rebuilds that include M37 with diesel engine upgrades.

I believe the unknown cable would be same as if you didn't use a suppressor, CX-4720/VRC. Also, I don't see any mention of a loudspeaker, but the designation would be LS-454/U for that part.
Okay, just planning for the future, my MV is nowhere near ready to paint. But I am curious, and want to get squared away for later.
I understand that newer MV ambulances such as the M886 and the M1008-series ambulance have Red Cross decals that are about 3x3 feet in size. However, the older...
Another thing we should make sure of that there is something to do wherever the event is held, like offroading, or a trail ride, mud pit, cruise through town, etc.
Man, your people ever heard of front yards? Some of those houses come right up to the road's edge. If someone broke down, wow, there'd be no shoulder to pull over on to change a tire, or whatnot. I guess most of the UK drivers are used to it , though...
All this side impact junk is garbage. No wonder the American car makers are going out of business and posting record losses in sales. We can't afford the cars due to all the stupid crap that the auto makers have to be in compliance with just to satisfy the bureaucrats in DC, so the prices of...
If the true reason is the H1 sales issue, I wonder if we will somehow be able to change the AMG's/government's position on this now that the H1 isn't made anymore for civilian sales. After all, some industrious people are building HMMWVs out of spare parts anyways, we're just saving everyone a...
Hope not myself, but I have a feeling that the business is safe, he just needs to clean up a bit. Hence the reason why a lot of stuff is being cut up, and good stuff is being put into trailers and in the barns.
RE: Re: RE: Not happy with the new purchase so far.
Just as a quazi side note, is there anyone else out there in terms of a company that redoes CUCVs/M880s that look this good, but have no mechanical problems?
