The first thing I would do is remove the battery cables and clean them to shiny metal then move to the connectors on the alternator and do the same.
With truck shut down (not running):
Put it back together and check the voltage across the batteries at the batteries themselves. Should be 13.6v...
i run a dozer for my Brother every once in a while and a friend has given me permission to run his track hoe, tracked end-loader, dozer and skid steer to start a pond for him.
We had very bad straight line winds one year. I was with my 2004 Dodge 1500 up close to the Hilton and I could see it coming across the pond and up the hill but I could get the door closed in time. The wind bent it all the way to the headlight on the driver's side.

I painted a Deuce and an M813 with rattle cans. Takes 18 cans for a Deuce and 22 for an M813. Powerwash and spray Rustoleum red primer on questionable spots.
I've been to every one (except covid cancellation) since 2008 and only walked around once to see the whole thing. For the most part I hang out with the group.
