1/0 Welding Cable for use as slave cable

Agreed, as long as he does not want to start one when it's cold out or the batteries are dead.

1/0 Welding Cable for use as slave cable

Undersized cables do not start any 5 ton trucks in the cold. The cable twitches, when cranking. Go big or go home!

Deuce trip n/e KS to FL Orlando.

It is more likely the line is actually bad, if leaking from a tight fitting. Remember, with a single circuit brake system you loose all brakes with a line failure.

Are you sure it is on the idle screw, at idle? Does it stall the same when it's on the high idle stop too?

    "Isolated Ground".

Yes, but the way it is built(compared to others) it is "ground isolated". That's why I said you guys are going to confuse others. Technically, every bulb in your truck is "isolated ground" by design. Just not in use. Please consider the context of the topic, when you use technical terms...

    M101A1 hand brake question

The TM is your best bet. Ask as you go, what you may not understand or find in the TM. I do not recall any threads with any detail on trailer brakes.

    M101A1 hand brake question

Directly from the TM(preceded by a picture with the numbers), ASSEMBLY 1. Install two brake guide washers (23). 2. Install brake guide (22) and four capscrews (21). 3. Install brakeshoe (20), washer (19), and new clip (18). 4. Install strut (17) and new clip (16). 5. Install brakeshoe (15)...

    M101A1 hand brake question

BTW, I was trying to help you by telling you how we(I) want you to use this forum, it was not criticism. You started 2 threads for the same thing. That is what I am referring to. You've done it twice, so far. Both times I have merged the threads into one.

    M101A1 hand brake question

No "kits" that I know of. Do you need more visual assistance than what I showed you is in the TM?

    M101A1 hand brake question

Maybe you missed the maintenance section of the TM. You will find chapeters titled, HANDBRAKE LEVER AND LINKAGE REPLACEMENT there. You will also see things like this there. Do NOT ask the same thing in multiple posts/places. That is called cross posting and is against the rules.

    M101A1 hand brake question

I would look at the TM(parts portion). It has exploded views of all the parts.

A muddy resistor bypass - overkill is a GOOD thing!

That style CB is used in many modern boats also.
