If this is the same situation/failure, then you should continue your original thread(not start another one).
You need a fuse(the correct fuse), not a screw.
The correct fuse has been discussed hundreds of times on the site.
You need a slow blow, 3-5 amp fuse.
Some are white and look like a resistor.
Use an ohm meter to test yours.
If your alt went out before, maybe you have a bad battery or connection(short).
I would not rule out the alternator just because you fixed it recently. If you did not fix whatever caused it to go bad the first time, I would expect the same to happen again(this time).

Did they come with instructions?
To be quite honest, the dash lights will tell you if they are not charging and the volt meter has a hash mark that is easy to reference as well.
