I appreciate it however as of now I only am missing 1 bolt and the e-stop button both of which have already been purchased, if I find anything else missing I will take a look!
Thanks for the info got the missing parts ordered, anyone know where I can get a replacement 1/4 turn wingnut for the gauge panel door?
Edit: Looking back at my own picture now after watching the video it looks like the wire going to "8" already has a connector on it for the fuse!
Won my first GP auction 7/26/23 and picked it up same day (MEP-803A), got it home added oil filter and oil, fuel, batteries, and checked air filter and a few other things, turned the switch and she fired right up and made power the only missing thing I could find was the emergency stop switch...
I got it fixed, I removed filter and let it all blow out refilled it with diesel and let that circulate drained that and new filter and oil and runs fine now.
Right, turns out there is 2 onan starters everything about them is exactly the same except rotation, with new starter all the issues are finally fixed and runs great

I have an MEP-016B that was sitting in the elements for what looks like 10 years with no oil filter on it, I got it home blew all the lines out, added a filter added oil, changed the starter and primed the fuel lines and it fired up and blew out the oil filter seal, so I took the filter off...
Right and to my knowledge the oil should enter the filter from the outside ring get filtered to the center and exit thru the center....yet currently on my machine the center is pushing out and the outside is pulling in back to the engine (verified by putting finger over the hole in the threaded...
Traded for an mep-016b that looks like it has been sitting in the middle of the forest with no oil filter or fluids in general for about a decade, brought it home degreased and powerwashed the 17 pounds of acorns, ants and dirt out of it, brought it inside and wouldn't fill the new oil filter...
