    outage

Well, after you got the pipe symbol wrong checking for the httpd daemon you mounted the sdc drive partition 1 on mount point /var/sql. Then you started the MySQL daemon and then the httpd daemon up. Do I win a prize?

Duel fuel line mod M818 855 cummins

I'd like to do this but the cutting holes and breaking tools all while trying to get a little plug out bothers me. I understand the reasons behind wanting to do it and it certainly sounds like a good idea but all we have so far is anecdotal evidence, no proof of the mod doing anything (other...

    CUCV Electric Explained

I like the idea of getting a 900 number for CUCV support. I'm sure there are a couple of members that could make some extra money if John didn't want to do it.

    my 24v mess

The word you are looking for when reading Ohms (resistance) is infinite resistance or more commonly known as an open. Holding the meter leads away from each for example. Going the other way it would be zero resistance or a short. (Reads 0 on a digital meter) Touching the tips of the meter...

    Where to get packard connectors?

I bought a bunch used takeout ones at the Findlay, OH show last year just to have some spares. I know at the Marengo show in 2011 someone was there that had lots of new ones and I think it was all NewStar.

    CUCV Electric Explained

Like he said, there are a lot more CUCV owners out there that have nothing to do with Steel Soldiers. I met one one day at an auto parts place.

How do you paint your Deuce?

A guy who is no longer on here anymore said pressure wash it and use rattle cans. I left all the runs on it from the military and my truck looks as good as it did when it was still being used by them. Pressure wash Knock big chips off Prime with Rustoleum red Takes twenty cans of Rapco 383...

    new to the deuce

While I like the fact that the A3 is auto and has air-assist steering but I could buy another A2 for what it would cost to do wheel bearings on the newer one. Thank you CTIS.

would you recommend a military vehicle for a small hauling business?

I don't even like loading and unloading my Deuce or 813, I can't imagine a 939 series. A pickup with gooseneck gives you far more versatility and good luck with the whole commercial insurance thing because for once in a blue moon it is actually a thread where it would have to be commercial...
