    2012 Haspin info/dates/attendance

I almost had to go to San Diego that week for a big conference. I'm sending someone else. Who wants to work or be in a beautiful and sunny area when you could be in a storm ravaged area where your truck doors get ripped off knee deep in mud? Not me. I got the door fixed and I have four anyway.

Steel Soldiers emails and site issues

Good job on bringing the site back up. As I sit here watching our traffic I see just over 300,000 blocks per 15 minutes on the outside from all sorts of sources. Of those that do get through we have over 350 per 15 minutes we analyze further and block or drop. Do attacks get through? Yep, we...

    Afterburner Test Vid

That model engine was used in the F4. Much like engines on older B52s it provides a smoke screen for the plane. I was working on the flight deck one day on one of our F4s. We had to do a full power (no afterburner) turn up to test the auto-throttle used when landing. I was standing in front...

    water comes thou windshield frame

I picked up my first Deuce in Smyrna, TN, pulled up onto the interstate and it was during the tornado/thunderstorm outbreak in AR/TN in 2008 and then all of it hit me. I drove her almost the entire 350 miles in the rain. Soaking wet and a little chilled and smiled for days after I got home...

What do your neighbors and other drivers think of your CUCV

But was it a C1 or C2 COD? I landed on the America in '81 off Puerto Rico in an OLD C1. The upside is that we both have "traps" and can join the club. :-)

I have no doubt that's true but I'd like to point out that two of the posters mention that they were using American made tools when they failed. You can buy junk made from anywhere. Doc is merely pointing out that wearing safety glasses IS A GOOD THING.
