About the only way it could be a 290 is if it was some super special build in the first place or someone changed the engine. Otherwise it's a 250 Cummins. I've never heard of a 290 Cummins.
As for big, I agree with that. :-)
One-man heavy tow bar use? My avatar wouldn't try it......neither would I. A 105 is is bad as I get.

Welcome to the site and like kennys said get used to the search and play with it for a while and you will see there are threads about overdrive.
There are also threads about safety and speeds in your 40 or 50 year old toy.
Plasma cutter, Oxy setup, SMAW setup and a Miller/Hobart/Lincoln GMAW welder in the 210Amp range.
A big stick welder can be used for cutting as well with a 1/4 inch rod, fun too.
For an icon how about a rolled over Deuce with smoke billowing everywhere and flames coming out the stack?
Or just convert Gimpy's pics over the last two years to an icon.
It's loaded and on the way. Battery boxes are in the cab of the tri-axle dump. If anyone has anything coming north or going south the guy hauling this is pretty reasonable. He is moving to south Carolina from Muncie, IN and is making a lot of runs with a 50-ton lowboy.
