Today I noticed I cannot hit enter, to move my cursor down to the next line. Still having that issue.

Switch is easy to test. The signal switch could have burned out. Best bet is to diagnose it. NAPA does have a switch that will fit, but it is not rated for the pressure or the DOT5. Now is a good time to improve safety and convert to an air actuated switch.(the military did this too)

I've never heard of a wild fire in NJ.

Never use pressure in a steel barrel! For a 55 gallon mild steel, open-head drum below 4 to 6 psi internal pressure, flex of the drum lid 1/2 inch or more is possible.
