I think the first thing to do is determine how much of a step your wife can tolerate before designing a solution. If she ambulatory and just needs smaller riser steps you may have to make some with a longer run. What ever you do test it with a lot more weight than her for safety's sake. When...

After coming back from Haspin I'm thinking I'm going to need something like that just to get in and out of mine. We discussed this once in another thread and WM hit it on the head. Small crane lift off the bed or a ladder. sw

GL says my accnt and my Dads are Duplicate Accounts!!!

That is without a doubt some of the dumbest guilt by association crap I have ever heard. I would try calling back to see if you can find a more sympathetic ear. Maybe try asking for a supervisor other than that I can't think if much. Unless, maybe contact your Congressman and have them call...

Oh, I have two complaints about the truck though. He should have left both rear axles on it and it isn't mine and sitting in my barn. sw

New Guy - Deuce owner to be?

Welcome from another swabbie who made two Westpacs in the 70s. Lived in the People's Republic of Kalifornia for over 5 years. Have two trucks from GL and have purchased 7 trailers from them as well and I think if I were to start over I would get one that had been gone through be someone...

FINALLY got plates, and a cautionary tale.

Glad you are legal. Technically speaking they are locking rims, not split rims. There is a difference and Gimp got on me for calling them split......... I guess they are not as dangerous but I wouldn't want to mess with them. :-) sw

    remanufactured M818's for sale???

I have one of the 2002 rebuild from WPAFB from a few weeks ago. Overall it looks good but at least one head gasket needs replaced and it has a knock in it that could be an injector or a rod. Looking at them is one thing, hearing them run or driving them is another. Caveat emptor
