I was wondering about that. But didn't want to look stupider than I already am. :mrgreen:
But maybe ii'm missing something. I get that. There's always room to learn, right?
As mkcoen points out, though;
-What could be the possible reason NOT to use threadlocker?
I don't know if your military is different from mine (and it's been a while), but if things haven't changed a whole lot don't count on there being a clearly logical explanation. :whistle: :mrgreen:
I don't know the M1917, but that sure looks like a revolver barrel in the vid, and there's clearly no slide beneath it. Am I mistaken? Because how are you using clips in a revolver? I'm sure I''m missing something here (and believe me I'm no handgun scholar or anything).
That was some nice...
I apologize to you, plowboy, as I'm likely "preaching to the choir" to you about this kind of thing.
But, Man, that makes me nervous to see something like that. People get hurt sometimes for the darnedest reasons, and you just wish it wasn't so.
Take me with a grain of salt. :roll:
Thanks for posting up your nomination, 71DeuceAK; that's a nice looking rig you got there.
Just curious: did you manage finally to get out of that fine little mud hole under your own "steam"?!
Brother, that shell looks like it's still crimped (meaning the casing is still full of powder). You just want to treat it with respect until you know the whole story there.
Maybe the primer is already fired as you mention (..."center in the bottom has a dent in it..."). But that might still be...
Posting this here. I was looking for something about the recent "U-Boat Discovered" thread, and accidentally ran across this:

That "roll call" shot you took (dead center of your pics) is terrific. It's nice to be able to see the whole line-up. Thanks a lot for that (and the other shots)! [thumbzup]
