    gl moving vehicles

I've been running a bulldozer part time for my Brother and he says the same thing about me running it for him. I can't wait until he says I'm an "operator". :-(

    Height of M35A2 with box?

Once I get electric in my barn (we dug the ditch and put the cable in last night) I'm going to put my compressors in and remove that box off the back of mine. The sides actually slide down into the normal sides on the bed. It looks like there are only a few bolts holding them down.

Trip to Adleman's in Canton, OH

Drgreg, yeah, every once in a while I hear a squeaking sound over here in Dayton and I'm pretty sure it's Speddmon. ;-) sw

Where did you mount the license plates

You are correct of course about painting them on front and back. :-) I don't drive it that much on the road. Probably get a ticket sometime but then I'll have another story for the site. sw

Where did you mount the license plates

I haven't even put a plate on mine here in Ohio. I carry the plates in the cab with me. No trouble yet but in Ohio you can leave them off if the vehicle is historical. You do have to paint the numbers for your plate on the rear though (no, I haven't done it yet). sw

If you really need to know I can measure mine. It has that same breakdown box on the back of it. Just let me know. sw

    Complete Noob... would like advice.

Westfolk, Clinto and dk8019 are all correct when it comes to searching and reading. I wanted one and ended up with two and 6 trailers (so far). Looking for my third truck now. Welcome to the green addiction, better for you than Diprivan and less likely to cause death. (Unless you have a...

Got a few problems. Please help.

For number one it is the driver's side under front fender on the frame rail. It may take a boat load of cleaning to make it visible. For number two one of the transmission experts can chime in. Good luck.

Welcome to the site. I believe you should read the TMs to put yourself to sleep, not read them before you go to sleep. ;-)

    Deuce Insurance?

Well said Clinto. Since joining the site I now search first and ask later. Is it perfect? No, but then again the old timers don't get on me about not searching first. ;-) It seems like we don't have two full weeks go by before someone asks about: a. How much does a Deuce cost? b. How much...

    25k rounds of .30-06 in a M109A3

I can afford a lot of things but buying that much at one time would even tax my resources. I don't consider it hoarding, I consider it taking prudent steps in preparation for the coming Zombie Apocalypse. sw

Who has shovel, axe and basic tool set?

I wish I had picked up a set in Findlay, OH a few weeks ago. Someone was selling complete sets of tools already mounted on the tool rack. I didn't get a price or the guy's card. He had about six sets sitting there. :-(
