We had a great time at the Last Cruise Car show.
After the show we had our own convoy for the spectators with 7 MV's. 3 Deuces, 2 Jeeps, one M1010 and one M1009.
Thanks to all that brought MV's to the show.
Here are a few pictures.

Dan, It's fine where it sits. I can get my trucks in and out of the garage.
I will read up on how to repair the brake issues as well. We will get it repaired and back to your home.
I just hope your Deuce stays away from my Deuce. I dont want any little suprises later.

The Last Cruise Car show will be held this year on July 24th at the PA Military Museum in State College, PA.
This show has all types of vehicles including a Military entry class. Several of us with MV's from the area are planning on bringing our vehicles to the show. We would really like to...
I changed mine last weekend, I bought a magnetic socket from Snap On for the hidden bolts on the front. It worked great for the removal and installation.
Make notes of where all the different length bolts the intake manifold has.
Not to hard of a job, take pictures of it before you tear it...
I put the engine back together this weekend.
Installed new the head gaskets, new hoses, clamps and all associated gaskets. Changed oil and filters too.
I was able to get a used exhaust manifold from a neighbor.
The heads were machined and checked by a professional engine repair facility.
It...
I made my own out of a 7/8 inch wrench and a short adapter.
I got the idea from the pictures that others have posted.
The third one back from the front took me more than two hours. Someone else had tried to turn the nut before and rounded it. I finally turned it enough with the wrench and...
The truck was blowing oil out the back of the engine.
I finally had the time to take it apart and found three places where the gasket was gone, torn or worn. What a surprise.
Another surprise was the broken exhaust manifold.
I would like to thank all that have posted information on...
Great post. Lots of good info.
I did mine twice by myself. It was a learning experience. This site sure helped me with a lot of great suggestions on how to remove a Deuce transmission.
One hint; After its all back together and you go to test it, make sure you put the transfer case back in...
I picked mine up last week, took the trailer assuming that it wouldn't make it the 120 miles home. I was right, it just barely started and we had to struggle to get it on the trailer.
Here are a few pictures.
Glad you made it home Ryan.
I agree with Doghead. Mounting batteries in the passenger compartment of a vehicle is not a good idea if it's not done properly.
It can be done if the proper safety precautions are followed. Just a few of them are:
The batteries need to be secured in an explosion proof box.
The box needs to be...
I can help with the Pennsylvania laws. I have a few friends that know the Motor Vehicle Code inside and out. If they don't know it, they will know where to get the correct answers.
Inspection mechanics and Judges make good friends. They can (and have) tell me the specific titles and code...
I spent many hours (days) clearing runways in vehicles exactly like those pictured at Griffiss AFB.
They would go thru snow nearly 10 feet high. Not much would stop them.
I wish I had a roll over plow now to clear the roads to tower sites, sure would do better than my F-250.
We receive 14...
My Deuce was usually around 180 degrees. Recently I cleaned the cooling system with some radiator flush from NAPA. This removed a considerable amount of brownish fluid from the system. The coolant in the top of the radiator always looked its normal green color prior to flushing. I installed a...
Welcome. I live in State College and you are welcome to come down and check out the Deuce that I have.
I know a few other MV collectors in this area and we get together at the various Car/Vehicle shows. You are welcome to join our informal group.
PM me and we can arrange a time to meet.

I take mine to the local truck repair/ towing garage. Eagle Towing in Milesburg.
Needs inspected twice per year and no weight sticker is issued with Classic tags.
Unlike tractorpuller1, I do not use mine for business. I use mine for personal fun.
But he does have a good idea doing it that way...
