I have had my winch for three and half months now and have had no urge to operate the winch yet. I guess I have seen too many horror stories on the site.
I have the manuals and before I touch any of the winch controls there will be two of us and one will be sitting in the driver's seat running...
Sweet! Do you think if you take it back to them they can use the forklift to poke holes in the side and collapse the roof a little?
It amazes how some people treat other people's property.....
I was running the bulldozer yesterday and told my brother about what you wanted and then I realized that dozer tracks would not be a good choice. Crane tracks would work since they are not made to provide any traction. Dozer and excavator tracks have the tall cleats for digging in and would...
Glad you are okay. I had a hood come up into my windshield after an oil change (done at one of those drive thrus) at 70 miles an hour on my Dodge while I was talking on a cell phone.
All I can say is if you can keep her under control and get pulled over you're doing good.
Will the stains come...
Well mine is a Certificate of Title, State of Florida.
It has AM General and the year and the weight and ID number.
Someone has written my name in as the buyer and it shows that I have paid the taxes and the purchase price as well.
We'll see how well it flys at the BMV next week. :-)
Okay, so I buy a deuce back in March or so. I pick it up in May and I finally took the time to apply for the SF-97 the first week in July as I was in no hurry.
I figure it will take months to get it and then I see they have the backlog cleared out and they are moving them through the process...
RE: Need some track
Bill,
You've seen my driveway. Some days it looks like a stock car pit lane the a$$holes drive so fast doing u-turns in it. I was even threatened with bodily injury by some idiot doing a u-turn and almost hit me on my mower. (In my own driveway!!!) Needless to say...
Slow? No kidding. Weeks to clean up a few quarts of oil.
Better off buying a large tank and put it up high and let it drain thru filters into holding tanks for use.
steve
I have a U6TL in mine and they carry them at Interstate Batteries. The other is a regular Interstate battery and I'm going to try and replace them both this week with some regular off the shelf batteries from Wally World or AutoZone.
U6TLs are 825 CCAs so I think I can get by with...
Yeah, one of those old timers posted doing something like that to filter oil.
(Nothing against old timers as I am over the half-century mark myself.)
I had thought about trying it out so you did save me some time.
steve
I see that you are located reasonably close to me in Ohio.
Please send out a PM or posting to let everyone know for sure if you are going to try and tow it for sure and let us know when. I'd like to make sure I'm not on any roads when you do.
There is a chance I will get to meet you someday...
Kyle,
I have all the rest of my insurance through a Nationwide affiliate and my agent would not insure the deuce. I wanted all my insurance through the same place but no luck.
I guess there is just no end to the different ways to get one insured. :-)
