Truck Inspection at Smyrna This Friday (5/2/08)
Anyone need any pictures or a truck looked at this Friday at Smyrna.
They tell me they are going to be open and I plan on picking my truck up and if someone needs some pics or us to look at a truck I'll be more than happy to.

RE: Smyrna and Shipping Costs
They called me back last Friday to let me know that they were going to be at the site from 9:30AM-1PM for people to load out.
I hope to be there at 9:30.

Smyrna and Shipping Costs
Fortunately I was sitting down when I opened up the message with my shipping quote through GL.
I have a local shipper who will do the entire job for $3.75 a loaded mile. It's 346 miles one way and he has a huge lowboy that the Deuce won't even stress a little. Then...
Yes, when the EUC clears and you have the PAID invoice in your possession you can call the GL site manager and make arrangements for picking it up. Make sure you have what you need to get on to the site, license and insurance. Read the sticky list for what to take with you.
Congrats on the...
Anyone going to be at the Smyrna site sometime soon?
My EUC cleared and I was wondering anyone could take a gander at my truck.
Thanks in advance.
(I am making shipping or driving arrangements now.)

First thing he did was flip the lunette and he is getting the pintle hook and adjustable adapter plate to raise the hitch up...
How could GL know? It's easy for us to put everything on GL but say someone finds out about the auctions and signs up and goes through the same process as the rest of us. Then say several weeks into the process Battle Creek's background check finds an issue that cannot be resolved or maybe GL...
I know the one that sold this week at WPAFB was on the auction block in Jan because I remembered the hours on it for some reason.
The deals just fall thru sometime I guess.
You could buy a battery tester at Harbor Freight that puts load on the battery.
I keep mine handy for all the tractors (farm) we have.
BTW If you do this please follow the directions on the tester......only connect it for the max time allowed or less.
Or have a fire extinguisher handy. ;-)
I've got a half ton and if I had to I would tow it across my driveway but I value both trucks more than that and I don't even have my Deuce yet.
I'm thinking tailgate, bumper, bed and frame for starters.
I know my Hemi will pull the Deuce but I'm not crazy (I am but not for this).
Take a...
