The HumV breakfast challenge...
There's a lot going on here with a lots of parts changing. Try to narrow it down to one worm at a time. I think of the machine as systems all working together. Changing part the way I am reading this... is like chasing worms, LOL. Seriously, go back to the...
In would be fun to look it over. Guys got to do, what a guys got to dooo, OH I said that. Not the way I would spend my money.
The circus is in town, CAMO
NO expert on this BUT.... looks to me you have enough material to tap some threads in it (plastic or metal ?) then screw one of these in there.
May have to take some threads off if threading it all the way in... to get it flush to the inside for proper draining. JB weld the , heck out of it...
"Yup, I have a stack of receipts, probably spent as much on parts and repairs as I did the HMMWV at this point."
No truer words spoken or printed about HMMWV's.
Finally the truth comes out, Judge Judy. Now to a commercial, CAMO
Yes, it 's that time again. This weekend for 24 hours. Radios, military vehicles and out to the field to make some radio contacts, camp out, friends. Perfect combinations.....
Test your truck and radio skills, fixed station or on the move. Fun or a tactical emergency. (everyone wants to to...
If a magnet stick to the brass looking parts... It's a knock off.
If it doesn't have inspection stickers "AGM"... It's a knock off.
If it doesn't hold pressure... It's a knock off.
If it's white as in plastic milk carton... It's a knock off.

Take a look at his older thread. Surprised this is not more common. Knock-off or cheap butt part.
Coolant Tank Keeps Cracking!
Ok ...Back to tell the story. Ready? I too have had overflow tank issues. Being the guy that says "if it ain't broke don't fix it" or this time have some cash to...
Based on the way I understand the question...Is the cover grounded to the housing?
Needs a return circuit.
Just a little more info or picture to see what your doing 👀
Just woke up, CAMO
Good deal ?? Not until the last bid, fees, taxes, shipping... More lots listed.
On that one tire my 👀 see 4618. Could be a deal if near Georgia. Gentleman...let the bidding war begin.
How fat is your wallet? CAMO
Those are showing up surplus. They and the SSI company are old OLD school, out of business. IMO... I would be careful in its use.
It's a bit of an odd one. I was given one as an "engineering sample" Was hermetically sealed (soldered housing) and a pain to crack open.
Curiosity killed this...
Now they all will have part numbers printed on them. Giving away military OEM parts secrets. See Alibaba for parts.
Didn't someone just get busted for that...LOL. CAMO
The hissing is normal for the valve.
Clunking, clanking, banging, squeaks and squeals... that's all the other parts.
Music to the HumV owners ears, CAMO
Here's how it works.
Hello Mogman, The way I read it... Not so much the sense current requirement, but looping the alternator output / charge current back thru the box. Those # 8 ga pins are rated at 72 amps. Short run of number 8 ga wire could ?? handle it for a while. "RUN" contractor / relay rated at 125...
2 1/2 years later and getting thrown under the bus. Then why post the same thing I was saying. Sorry couldn't answer all your questions. Mogman is likely correct your 100 amp unit was hacked in and control box is not going to be happy. And for a first post... sound like you have it all...
