Not quite.... The stock arrangement of 4 batteries is series/parallel. This gives you double the voltage, and also double the amperage... not x4.

I recommend the dual fuel mod. I don't recommend a turbo. The NH250 lacks the oils squirters needed for it. That said, I've got an M818 with turbo, and I'll be driving it up I-35 sometime in the next few weeks. You're welcome to look and see how the turbo was added..

You've been told wrong. M934 will get 4-6mpg. Also, it's not a 5-6 ton truck. It weighs 29,900 empty, closer to 15 tons. The M934A2 with the 8.3 turbodiesel wI'll get slightly better fuel economy, but I don't think you'll see 9mpg out of it.
