The mistakes i see here -
1) bidding with credit.
2) calling GP before you thought it through.
3) making emotional statements.
Don't tell your bank the card is stolen. Why make a false statement of fact? Have them close it without giving a reason... although GP likely won't charge the card...
It's hit or miss. I've had good experiences, bad experiences, and everything in between. With a large enough sample size, you'll experience it all, pretty much evenly divided across a bell curve.

It's not that you get to "decide", what year it is. GP will defer to your "research" as the what year it is.

Nice explanation. Believe it or not, I'm familiar with most of that, having lived in cold snowy mountainous terrain. (As an aside, you can keep as much of that cold wet crap to yourself as possible... :) )
What confuses me, is he quoted my post where i state that GP treats these trucks like...
I've seen them drained with a drill.
"Doesn't run" is anything from needing a jump, to a seized engine.
GP views these trucks as scrap metal and treats them accordingly. Dragged in gear, forklifted, whatever.
