    I found in the DEUCE LO, it calls for 90wt GEAR OIL for normal use, for rears, trans, xcase, ALL other gear boxes, found NO mention of a type number gl1 or gl5

    YEP that is the reason the light came on, the equalization valve sensed a pressure loss on one side. The trouble shooting section in the TMs will cover ALL of this From your first post, it sounds like you are STILLl driving the vehicle, if so WHY

    my 52 m52 had them, I converted the right one to run, stop, turn and the left I added turn, did away with the blackout light I have a full set I got off of something a long time ago sitting in the garage

    The deal is this, OE is after the BIG customer who is used to seeing a high price on a piece of equipment, not MVers like us who know the trucks, the CORP. customers like power line companies ect, see a high price and think that's not bad, that is what we are used to paying for a turn key piece...
