You're waiting around for advice on how to get the pump working... LOL after changing?? You did all the hard stuff and if comfortable with that ???
Now the question is why no pump, what else is missing, how long was it sitting, last time it ran?? on and on. Gets to be a crap shoot... but if...
There's more to the "BOX" that the box. Depending on make and model... there is the TSU in the water crossover. Could be B/O, wet, shorten or just ?
Been there, done that, CAMO
Just finished building two of them... And walked one Steel Soldier thru my complete build / design over the phone-facetime 2500 miles away. HumV started the first time. I could sense the feeling of his accomplishment every step of the build and the 1000 dollar savings over the phone. 💰💰 (y)...
All true. But with all those brakes to maintain coupled with the DOT 3-4 sucking up moisture, IMO it would be a major headache. DOT 5 is in all of my trailers and HumV. Pryor to my switching always something rusted, crudded up, leaking, blowing out seals in the fleet. LOL Car collector...
I think the "excitement" is putting a damper on the "new" HumV ride. A few system NEED to be checked out before hitting the road. Even a new car goes thur some sort of delivery checks and sometimes Opps... loose bolt, low fluid or none. 30 year old truck and I don't care what Uncle Sam...
This guy will show you how. Watch it at 2 times speed and really see what it takes. Nice ride (y) (y) (y)
Got to say ... not running into the problems showing up here on SS, CAMO

How about a little back story.... The what, where, when, model.... picture ? Just asking.
In my driveway I would put a simple-cheap vacuum / pressure gauge into the end of the water separator hose hanging on the outside left footwell. Easiest to get to... no fuss & quick. Make a good seal...
It does pass thru the "BOX" . Battery HOT all the time. Inputs "BOX" on engine connector pin E. Thur "BOX" and out on body connector pin F. Over to the lighting switch to pin F.
Disconnect batteries before poking around. Have seen many burnt off "F" pins on "BOXes" when pokers miss the...
Is it me or the Covid, You just answered your own question.
" I just don't know why they use 16AWG to the remote since current is low and voltage drop likely not significant enough to cause issue"
Wired controllers are pretty straight forwarded. Sure connectors need to mate / match...
Why... Cuz, it's a remote control. It controls a simple relay circuit (solenoids) that controls the high current needs to run the motor.
You will need large gauge wire, welding type from the batteries to both locations. or a long one to flip between front / rear. and a positive and negative...
Reasonable price ??? At GP, I see them starting at $4K. Sold for $40K. The one picture shown and my one guess $20K Plus.
Looks like a nice, clean rig. Anything goes, Guesses are free, trucks are NOT. Parts sky high.
What's in your wallet, CAMO
OK... Cranky old guy here at 67 years young. At that point where I can't remember :poop:. BUT... I only have to remember where I left my notebook.
SO... One spends BIG BUCKS on that BIG busted, will always need attention "HMMWV". Spend another couple of buck and start a LOG BOOK of all thing...
Welcome to the site and this model of the hobby. Did you check in the owners manual? Probably blew out 🌪of the glove box with your fuel pump. LOL
74C goes to the STE/ICE connector. 14B is part of the netural starter switch and I am not sure why it's showing up there. ME bad. Time for the...
Time to kill ? Waiting for the RTV to set up. Batteries to charge up. Paint to dry, Something funny. Rodney knows a thing or two. Exchange car for HUMV.
