I would add after one tears it all apart... Wire brush all the threads, blow it out and anti seize them up. Cranking on them with a pipe wench is one thing then OK. More to know than toe with the HumV. Proper toe doesn't make it go in the right direction either. Research thrust line >>...

I am not sure you can get the seal out because of the "C" shaped diff mount (left or right side hanger paws) overlaps the seal just enough to be a PITA... as in just pull the diff and do all of them. ( 3, in and outputs) I could be missing something in the translation ... But couldn't do it...

Not sure why one would want to use any of the drive train. Four smaller motors with simple gear reduction to each portal hubs. Fancy computer to manage traction / spin control / sync / lock-up. Selective wheel drive 1, 2 , 3 or 4... front or rear??. Include all the regen / braking stuff...
