Glad you got your winch in good working order.
Please be careful working that tree project:
- They don't always drop where you want them, and things can go wrong real fast when gravity decides it wants a tree (and there's no stopping it once it starts coming down).
Neither of you thought that was funny, but the MV gods got a good laugh.
Don't feel singled out; they plan it this way for all of us (it's just that you never know when your turn is coming up).
Louisiana:
- You all really know how to have fun there down your way.
I'm hoping my daughter gets her application accepted at Tulane (and says "yes"); I plan to go to ALL the parent's events!
Man, you are BOOKING along there. Sounds like the RPM's were wound up pretty tight, but I couldn't catch which gauge on the dash was a tach:
- What kind of RPM's were you running at that road speed?
It IS a capitalist culture we thrive in here in the good old U.S.A., but that doesn't mean that everything of value can only be measured in dollars.
I am sorry for your loss of your Dad, but I salute you and your project for him here. I sure hope it proves to be everything you want it to be...
I agree, but temper my comment with the understanding that I have no skin in the game, and the labor doesn't come from me.
But if you're looking for comment to help tilt you one way or the other, I say go for the paint work now. You'll likely be glad later you did it when the opportunity was...
I hate those kind of moments that as soon as you do something:
- You know it's wrong
But it's already over, and it's too late to go back. I've dome stuff like that more than once (and I kick myself for everyone of them). aua
So don't feel alone.
I'm not at all an answer man, but I'm pretty sure you can't go wrong hitting any rubber seals with some silicone before buttoning it all back up.
Hoping somebody else here can either support that or shoot it down.
