What did you do to your deuce this week?

That's a nasty job. But you know you'll likely feel good about it once you're done with it, and it's all behind you. [thumbzup]

Alaska : looking meet other members.

Those look fun. That machine is so quiet that initially I was thinking it ran off of battery power; neat.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Your deuce looks great. I've never noticed the canvas before with the reinforcement. Did you do that yourself?

What did you do to your deuce this week?

That's a great set-up. [thumbzup] Do you free-wheel the APU behind the deuce, or do you have a way of getting it up there onto the bed?

Working On The M561 Gama Goat

Everything about that Goat of yours is exceptionally right. It couldn't look any better. Just the fact that you're going to all this trouble for the restoration is right. Carry on, Brother. It is all perfection to behold. [thumbzup]

World War II Victory Capitol Flyover May 8th, 2015

Before I forget the details from that special day, I wanted to point out: - How difficult it is to identify aircraft from underneath them. You don't think about it; but all the images you see are always from at, or slightly above, their flight level. Some are distinctive, sure, but quite a few...

    Artisan's M916

That is all bad; just plain bad. Yes, let Karma come back to their spirit.

    UAZ joins the fleet

It is amazing sometimes how the designers of these kinds of things can get a basic detail like this (convenient fueling), so wrong, you know?

Taking home a KraZ 214b - need some help finding front axle shafts

I owned a nice bike back years ago, BMW R50/2 with drive shaft and it was all German precision; a great machine. News here now is the rain: - 2.75" (70 mm) of rain in D.C. so far today already breaking the daily record of 2.59" (66 mm) set in 1881. It's some kind of wet around here.

Taking home a KraZ 214b - need some help finding front axle shafts

It was shouting H-D, but I was unfamiliar with the saddle. That's a fat machine; VERY nice.

    WY/CO Chapter

I'd say that your living arrangement is darn near perfect. I have a cousin used to do stonework in Middleburg VA and had a sweet deal for a while living rent-free in the gatehouse of a very grand horse country estate of an absent landlord. Like your set-up essentially. I always thought that was...

Taking home a KraZ 214b - need some help finding front axle shafts

What's always great about your work, Skull Crusher, is how clean and professional it is. Photos of your progress are always a treat. What's the story on the bike: - It's got a Harley look to it, but the saddle and a few features would seem to rule that out. What do you have there?

My New Project - 1942 Ford GPW

The repair to the crack in the block looks great; man (presuming so), knows what he's doing, for sure. And I don't envy you the fence line work. I sure hope your tractor sports an auger off the PTO. I'd hate to think of digging all those post holes by hand.

Working On The M561 Gama Goat

That's a real good job you did there cleaning up the old rust, mkcoen. I was just in my local West Marine store here yesterday to pick up some tried-and-true Naval Jelly for a little rust project that I encountered, and was told there that the product has gone the way of the dinosaurs (it's...
